Maurice Clarke, Behavioral Health Integration Specialist

Maurice Clarke joined Community Health Net in August of 2020 as a part of the Behavioral Health Consultant team, and MAT Substance Abuse Disorder team. Maurice is Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Nationally Board-Certified Counselor. Maurice is a master’s Level therapist from Gannon University where he obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He also has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with minors in Juvenile Justice, Corrections, and Forensic Investigation, and has an associate degree in Legal Studies all from Gannon University.

Maurice has extensive training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectal Behavioral Therapy. Maurice also has experience delivering individual therapy and group therapy to adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. In addition, he also has experience in primary care integrated therapy to United States Military Veterans. Maurice was born in Kingston, Jamaica, but has resided in Erie County for most of his life.

Maurice is committed to advocating the mental health needs of all who are in the Erie community and is grateful to be part of Community Health Net’s mission to provide healthcare services to all people in Erie County regardless of ability to pay. As part of this mission Maurice is also committed to ensuring that each patient’s mental health concerns are addressed along with all other healthcare needs.
