Anthony Ignocheck, M.D. is the Acting Medical Director at Community Health Net. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Penn State University having graduated “With the Highest Distinction”. He received his medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, PA and completed a transitional year and Family Medicine residency at Hamot Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He has been helping patients at Community Health Net since May of 2016.
Dr. Ignocheck had served as former President of the Erie County Medical Society and Chair of Family Medicine at Hamot. He also previously served on the Institutional Review Board at UPMC Hamot Medical Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians, Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Erie County Medical Society. Dr. Ignocheck received the Dean’s Special Award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching from Drexel University College of Medicine during his time as a faculty member of the Hamot Family Medicine Residency program. He is a member of Gold Key and Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Societies at Penn State University
